Tobii S32 speech device comes in two versions. The Tobii S32 Touch speech device is suitable for users who are ambulatory and have use of their hands. The Tobii S32 Scanspeech device supports touch input as well as scanning, making it a suitable speech device for individuals who have limited or no use of hands and other body parts:
- Users with autism
- Users in the early phases of ALS
- Individuals with CP
- People who have suffered from stroke/aphasia
The speech device that lets you take control
To make your voice heard is important. The Tobii S32 speech device allows you do just that, at the touch of a button. The S32’s interface consists of a series of interchangeable cards, each with various pictures, symbols or scenes. You can pre-program each picture or symbol to say exactly what you want. And when you want to say it, simply press the button on your Tobii S32 speech device.
For users who have difficulty using their hands, the Tobii S32 Scan speech device model allows you to select the button you want to press by using switches and scanning instead.
Whichever model of the S32 speech device you use you can enjoy seamless integration with Tobii’s SymbolMate software, which lets you create, manage, edit and print page sets; import, record and transfer sounds form a PC and manage settings on one or more S32 speech devices.
Power inside the speech device
The S32 speech device is powerful. With storage space for up to 192 cards and storage for more than 60 hours of high quality sound there’s always an opportunity with the Tobii S32 speech device to make yourself heard, tell someone a story, remember a funny moment or even listen to your favorite album.
And when you’re done talking, the Tobii S32 speech device can be used as an environmental control unit (ECU) to control lights, small appliances, adapted toys and television or DVD players.
