S has Cerebral Palsy and uses an eye tracker together with the Voco Chat Grid Set in Grid 3 Communication Software to communicate. There was a big event at school, one that S was very excited to be a part of. She so wished that her family could watch her perform as the bride in the school talent show, but they were unable to attend. Fortunately she was able to use the Photo Stories feature in Voco Chat to tell her family all about the special day.
It is important that communication devices are used for more than choice making and requesting. Sharing experiences is an important function of communication and features like Photo Stories make this possible.
